会員の皆様に快適で質の高いプレー環境をご提供できるよう、日々の維持管理はもちろん、中長期的な視点に立った改善や品質向上にも継続して取り組んでおります。
At Tokyo Classic Club, we value a community where meaningful connections are fostered around the clubhouse and members can share enriching experiences together. One of the most important elements supporting this club lifestyle is the golf course itself.
To provide our members with a comfortable and high-quality playing environment, we are committed not only to the daily maintenance of the course but also to continuous improvements and quality enhancements from a long-term perspective.
現在、コース管理業界では人材確保が大きな課題となっておりますが、当クラブでは継続的な採用活動を行い、今期は新たに2名の正社員を迎えることができました。今後も給与体系や労働環境のさらなる充実を図るとともに、クラブの魅力を積極的に発信しながら、優秀な人材の確保と育成に努めてまいります。
以下、2026年度上半期に実施した主な取り組みと、今後の計画についてご報告いたします。
While securing skilled personnel remains a significant challenge throughout the golf course maintenance industry, our club has continued its recruitment efforts and was pleased to welcome two new full-time staff members this season. Going forward, we will further enhance our compensation structure and working environment while actively promoting the unique appeal of the club to attract, develop, and retain talented professionals.
Below is a summary of the key initiatives undertaken during the first half of the 2026 fiscal year, along with our plans for the months ahead.
各エリアのメンテナンス状況
Course Maintenance Update
1. グリーン
最高のグリーンコンディションを維持するため、計画的な更新作業を実施しております。
・刈高・刈込
現在は刈高3.5mmを基準とし、週平均8～9回の刈込を行っております。今後の夏季期間に向けては、芝へのストレスを軽減し健全な生育を促すため、刈高を3.8mmへと移行し、養生期間を設ける予定です。
・転圧
週2回の転圧を実施し、安定したスピードとスムーズなボールの転がりを維持しております。
・エアレーション
4月に内径10mm、6月に内径8mmのコアリング（更新作業）を計画通り実施いたしました。
・はみだしベント芝修正工事
本来のグリーン形状の回復とコンディションの均一化を目的として、グリーン周辺にはみ出したベント芝の修正工事を継続しております。今年度はNo.2、4、9、17グリーンを対象に施工し、全21面中13面の工事が完了いたしました。
1. Greens
To maintain the highest possible putting surface quality, we continue to carry out a planned program of turf maintenance and renovation practices.
• Mowing Height and Frequency
Greens are currently maintained at a mowing height of 3.5 mm, with mowing performed an average of eight to nine times per week. As we approach the summer season, the mowing height will be raised to 3.8 mm to reduce turf stress and promote healthy growth during the recovery period.
• Rolling
Greens are rolled twice weekly to maintain consistent speed and provide smooth, true ball roll.
• Aeration
Core aeration was completed as scheduled, using 10 mm tines in April and 8 mm tines in June as part of our annual turf renovation program.
• Encroaching Bentgrass Restoration Project
To restore the original green contours and improve consistency across all putting surfaces, we continue to remove bentgrass that has gradually encroached beyond the intended green boundaries. This year, work was completed on Greens No. 2, 4, 9, and 17, bringing the total number of completed restoration projects to 13 of the club's 21 putting surfaces.
2. ティ・フェアウェイ・ラフ
コース管理スタッフ不足の影響を受け、現在はコースコンディションの維持と品質の確保を最優先とした管理体制をとっております。
・ティ
5月に内径12mmのコアリング（エアレーション）を実施いたしました。
・フェアウェイ
6月中旬に内径12mmのコアリング（エアレーション）を実施予定です。また、7月以降は定期的なサッチング（堆積有機物の除去）を行い、芝の健全な生育環境の維持に努めてまいります。
さらに、No.3ホールの陥没箇所復旧工事の進捗に合わせ、6月中に暗渠排水工事の実施を検討しております。
・ラフ
芝質の改善と耐久性向上を目的として、エルトロベントグラスの薬剤散布および約1,000㎡の張替えを試験的に実施いたしました。今後はその経過を検証しながら、管理手法の確立を進めてまいります。
2, Tees, Fairways and Roughs
Due to ongoing staffing challenges within the course maintenance team, our current priority is to preserve course quality and maintain consistent playing conditions across all areas of the course.
• Tees
Core aeration using 12 mm tines was completed in May as part of our annual turf management program.
• Fairways
Core aeration using 12 mm tines is scheduled for mid-June. Beginning in July, regular thatch removal (verticutting/thatching) will be carried out to promote healthy turf growth and maintain optimal playing conditions.
In addition, subject to the progress of the sinkhole restoration work on Hole No. 3, we are evaluating the installation of subsurface drainage in June to further improve soil drainage and turf health.
• Roughs
As part of an ongoing turf quality improvement initiative, a trial program was conducted in May involving the application of turf treatment products and the replacement of approximately 1,000 square meters of El Toro turfgrass. The results will be closely monitored as we evaluate future management practices.
3. バンカー
・砂厚調整
昨年12月から本年3月にかけて、全バンカーを対象に砂の厚みを計測しながら補砂作業を実施いたしました。各バンカーの砂厚を均一化することで、より安定したプレーコンディションの維持に努めております。
3. Bunkers
・Sand Depth Adjustment
From December through March, sand depths in all bunkers were carefully measured and adjusted through a comprehensive sand replenishment program. This work was undertaken to achieve more consistent and optimal bunker playing conditions throughout the course.
コース管理棟の増築計画について
Course Maintenance Facility Expansion Plan
将来にわたり安定したコース管理体制を維持していくため、現在、コース管理棟の増築を計画しております。
近年、コース管理業界では人材確保が大きな課題となっておりますが、当クラブでは女性スタッフを含む多様な人材が働きやすい環境づくりを進めることで、人材の確保と定着を図り、長期的に高水準のコースコンディションを維持できる体制の構築を目指しております。
今後とも、東京クラシッククラブにふさわしいコースコンディションの維持・向上に努めるとともに、会員の皆様により豊かなクラブライフをお楽しみいただけるよう取り組んでまいります。

To ensure a stable and sustainable course maintenance operation for years to come, we are currently planning an expansion of the course maintenance facility.
As attracting and retaining qualified personnel continues to be a significant challenge throughout the golf course maintenance industry, we are committed to creating a workplace that supports a diverse workforce, including female staff members. Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen recruitment and retention while establishing an operational structure capable of maintaining exceptional course conditions over the long term.
We remain dedicated to preserving and enhancing the course conditions expected of Tokyo Classic Club while continually striving to provide an even more rewarding club experience for our members.
