The 11th Golf Committee Meeting (Held on June 7, 2026)
初夏を迎え、コースコンディションが大きく変化する時期となりました。
第11回ゴルフ委員会では、ゴルフコースロードマップの進捗状況をはじめ、主要競技の結果報告や今後の運営課題について確認し、活発な意見交換を行いました。
As we enter the early summer season, course conditions are undergoing significant changes.
During the 11th Golf Committee Meeting, members reviewed the progress of the Golf Course Roadmap, received reports on the results of major competitions, and discussed key operational challenges and priorities for the future.

Golf Course Roadmap Progress Update
【グリーン】
グリーンクオリティの向上を目的として、年3回のコアリング作業を実施しております。2026年度は4月に10mmコアリングを実施し、6月7日より8mmコアリングを開始いたしました。なお、10月にも8mmコアリングの実施を予定しております。
透水性の改善を中心とした管理を継続してきた結果、グリーンコンディションは徐々に改善傾向を示しております。今後も計画的なメンテナンスを継続し、より良いプレー環境の提供に努めてまいります。
また、本来のグリーン形状の回復とコンディションの均一化を目的として、グリーン周辺にはみ出したベント芝の修正工事を継続しております。今シーズンは2番、4番、9番、17番グリーン周辺の工事を実施し、全21面のうち13面が完了いたしました。
なお、スプリンクラーの設置位置についても、グリーン形状の修正完了に合わせて順次調整を行う予定です。
【Greens】
To improve overall green quality, we conduct aeration (core cultivation) three times each year. In 2026, a 10mm core aeration was completed in April, and an 8mm core aeration program commenced on June 7. A further 8mm core aeration is scheduled for October.
As a result of our ongoing focus on improving drainage and soil permeability, green conditions have shown steady improvement. We will continue to implement planned maintenance programs to further enhance playing conditions and provide the highest possible quality of turf.
In addition, we are continuing restoration work to recover the original green shapes and achieve more consistent playing surfaces. This project involves removing encroaching bentgrass around the green perimeters. During the current season, work was carried out on the areas surrounding the 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 17th greens, bringing the total completed greens to 13 out of 21.
Sprinkler locations will also be adjusted progressively as each green restoration project is completed, ensuring irrigation coverage aligns with the restored green contours.
【ティーイングエリア】
ティーイングエリアの排水性向上を目的とした改修工事については、ティー面全体の整備が完了しております。
今後は排水状況を確認しながら優先順位を定め、必要箇所において部分的な暗渠排水工事を実施してまいります。現在は、1番ホール（白・青ティー）、2番ホール（白・青ティー）、8番ホール（青ティー）を対象に工事を進めております。
【Teeing Areas】
The renovation project aimed at improving drainage in the teeing areas has been completed across all tee surfaces.
Moving forward, we will continue to monitor drainage performance and prioritize locations requiring additional improvements. Targeted subsurface drainage installations will be carried out where necessary. Work is currently underway on the 1st hole (White and Blue Tees), 2nd hole (White and Blue Tees), and 8th hole (Blue Tee).
These improvements are intended to enhance turf conditions and provide more consistent playing surfaces throughout the season.
【フェアウェイ】
フェアウェイでは、不陸や小さな凹凸の修正を進めるとともに、一部で確認されている排水不良箇所の改善に取り組んでおります。
芝の生育環境向上を目的として、フェアウェイのコアリング作業を年1回実施しており、本年度は6月16日より作業を予定しております。また、サッチング（芝を起こす作業）の実施回数を年1回から年4回へ増やすとともに、目砂の散布量も増量し、コンディションのさらなる改善を図っております。
排水不良箇所については、今後順次暗渠排水工事を実施してまいります。先日の台風による豪雨の際には一部で水溜まりが見られましたが、降雨が弱まるにつれて排水が進み、これまでの改善施策の効果も確認することができました。
【Fairways】
On the fairways, we are continuing to correct uneven surfaces and minor depressions while also addressing areas where drainage issues have been identified.
To promote healthier turf growth, fairway aeration is performed annually, with this year's program scheduled to begin on June 16. In addition, the frequency of verticutting and thatch removal has been increased from once to four times per year. We have also increased the volume of topdressing sand applications as part of our ongoing efforts to further improve overall turf conditions.
Areas affected by poor drainage will continue to be improved through a phased subsurface drainage program. During the recent typhoon-related heavy rainfall, temporary standing water was observed in several locations. However, drainage improved as rainfall subsided, demonstrating the positive impact of the improvements implemented to date.
【ラフ】
ラフの一部において、春先に芝が白く見える箇所があります。これは造成時の芝不足により、一部で異なる芝種（エルトロ芝）が使用されたことによるものです。
芝種を統一し、コンディションの均一化を図るため、今シーズンは3番ホールおよび16番ホールのティーイングエリア前方のラフ約1,000㎡について、野芝への張替えを実施いたしました。
【Rough】
Some areas of the rough may appear lighter in color during the spring season. This is due to the use of a different turfgrass variety (El Toro Zoysia) in certain locations where turf was in short supply during the original course construction.
To create greater consistency in turf conditions and appearance throughout the course, approximately 1,000 square meters of rough located in front of the teeing areas on the 3rd and 16th holes were re-sodded with Japanese zoysiagrass (Noshiba) during the current season.
【フェスキューエリア】
フェスキューエリア内に発生している笹の除去については、継続的に試験施工を行っております。
昨年9月に薬剤処理および土壌の入れ替えを実施した後、フェスキューの播種を行いました。現在（6月7日時点）は生育も順調で、笹の再発生は確認されておらず、一定の効果が認められております。
今年度は、2番、6番、9番、10番、18番ホールのフェスキューエリア約1,000㎡を対象に、同様の工事を実施する予定です。これに伴い、9月下旬頃までは一部エリアで笹が枯れた状態となるため、一時的に景観を損なう場合がございます。何卒ご理解のほどお願い申し上げます。
【Fescue Areas】
We continue to conduct trial programs aimed at eliminating bamboo grass (Sasa) encroachment within the fescue areas.
In September of last year, herbicide treatment and soil replacement were carried out, followed by reseeding with fescue. As of June 7, establishment has been successful, and no regrowth of bamboo grass has been observed, indicating promising results from the treatment.
This year, similar work is planned across approximately 1,000 square meters of fescue areas on holes 2, 6, 9, 10, and 18.
As part of this process, some sections of bamboo grass will remain visibly dead until approximately late September. As a result, certain areas may experience a temporary reduction in visual appearance during the restoration period. We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the long-term quality and consistency of these areas.
【今後の工事・作業予定 Upcoming Projects and Maintenance Schedule】
■ グリーンエアレーション
6月7日午後より、本年度2回目となるグリーンエアレーションを開始いたしました。
内径8mmのコアを使用し、通気性・透水性の向上ならびに有機物層の改善を目的として実施しております。
■ フェアウェイエアレーション
6月16日午後より、フェアウェイエアレーションを開始する予定です。
目砂散布作業とあわせて約1か月をかけて実施し、不陸の修正およびコンディションの向上を図ります。
■ 暗渠排水工事
7月上旬より、1番・2番・9番・15番ホールのグリーン手前エリアにおいて暗渠排水工事を予定しております。
排水性の改善を目的として実施するもので、工期は約1週間を予定しております。
■Green Aeration
The second green aeration program of the year commenced on the afternoon of June 7.
Using 8mm hollow tines, the operation is designed to improve air and water movement within the rootzone while reducing accumulated organic matter.
■Fairway Aeration
Fairway aeration is scheduled to begin on the afternoon of June 16.
The program, including topdressing applications, will be carried out over approximately one month to improve surface smoothness and overall playing conditions.
■Subsurface Drainage Installation
Beginning in early July, subsurface drainage work is planned in the approach areas of holes 1, 2, 9, and 15.
The project is intended to improve drainage performance and is expected to require approximately one week to complete.
【その他の整備状況 Other Course Maintenance Activities】
コースコンディションの維持・向上を目的として、毎週土曜日にマスター室スタッフおよびキャディを中心とした定期的な目土作業を継続して実施しております。
また、良好なコースコンディションを維持するため、メンバーの皆様におかれましても、プレー中の目土作業ならびにグリーン上のピッチマーク修復にご協力をお願いいたします。
今後も中長期的な視点のもと、メンバーの皆様により良いプレー環境をご提供できるよう、計画的なコースコンディションの維持・向上に取り組んでまいります。
To maintain and further improve course conditions, regular divot-filling operations are carried out every Saturday by our Golf Operations staff and caddie team.
We also kindly ask for the continued cooperation of our members in filling divots and repairing ball marks on the greens during play. These small efforts play an important role in preserving the quality of the course for all players.
With a long-term perspective, we remain committed to the planned maintenance and continuous improvement of course conditions, ensuring the best possible playing environment for our members.
2026年 関東倶楽部対抗 結果報告
2026 Kanto Inter-Club Championship – Results Report
2026年5月15日（金）、紫カントリークラブ すみれコースにて、「2026年 関東倶楽部対抗 千葉第1会場予選競技」が開催されました。
当クラブは10位という結果となり、惜しくも予選通過はなりませんでしたが、ゴルフ委員会より、クラブの代表としてご尽力いただいた選手の皆様へ感謝と労いの言葉が贈られました。
On Friday, May 15, 2026, the 2026 Kanto Interclub Championship Qualifying Round (Chiba Venue No. 1) was held at Sumire Course, Murasaki Country Club.
Our club finished in 10th place and unfortunately did not advance to the next stage of the competition. Nevertheless, the Golf Committee expressed its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all players who proudly represented the club.

2026年 理事長杯 結果報告
2026 President's Cup – Results Report
予選には36名が参加し、4週間にわたり熱戦が繰り広げられました。
決勝戦では、横山かやき様が川島マーク様を4＆3で下し、見事優勝を果たされました。
A total of 36 players participated in the qualifying rounds, with highly competitive matches taking place over a four-week period.
In the championship match, Kayaki Yokoyama defeated Mark Kawashima 4&3 to claim the title.

なお、予選通過のカットラインはネット77（マッチング・スコアカード方式）でした。
The qualifying cut line was a net score of 77, with ties determined using the Matching Scorecard method.
